Year 3 Fun!
Chris Taylor, curator of the school museum, visited Year 3 to talk about the Stone Age. He showed them artefacts, which included animal bones, fossils and even a real mammoth’s tooth found in Purley! The children got to learn about them and even hold them. As part of their work on the Stone Age, year 3 also created their own cave paintings using tea-stained paper and oil pastels. They even painted under the tables, pretending they were back in the Stone Age, cave painting!
