Olaf Falafel – One Giant Leek for Mankind!

We were very excited to host a visit from children’s author and illustrator Olaf Falafel on 1^st May.

Olaf is celebrating the 50^th anniversary of the moon landings by visiting 50 schools around the UK and Chipstead Valley Primary School was fortunate enough to be one of the 50 schools chosen.  During his visit, Olaf spoke to the children about being a comedian and author, covering his love of illustrations and story writing which began when he was in primary school. He read his new book to the children and even ran a workshop on how to draw a character from his book! The children had an amazing time and a large number also had a booked signed at the end of their session!
